A motor vehicle (1) in which the non-driven wheels (9, 10) are connectable to each other for torque transmission by a driving coupling (11), preferably a fluid friction coupling. To establish a torque connection between the two non-driven wheels and the fluid friction coupling (11) there have been provided the two halfshafts (12, 13). This design improves the directional stability of the motor vehicle (1) as well as its driving behaviour for driving in a straight line. <IMAGE>
